Terms of Service

Last updated: April 15, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Traviofy website at traviofy.com (the "Site") and all tour booking, concierge, and related services we provide (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing the Site or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Site or Services.

2. Who We Are

Traviofy is a European tour curation and concierge service operated from offices in Ancona, Italy and Zurich, Switzerland. We work with established tour operators (including Trafalgar, Costsaver, Globus, Expat Explore, and Europamundo) to bring curated multi-day tours, cruises, and bespoke itineraries to discerning travellers from around the world.

We are not the principal tour operator for the experiences we list. Each tour is delivered by the named third-party operator under their own terms and conditions, which apply alongside these Terms.

3. Bookings and Payments

3.1 Booking Process

Tour enquiries are submitted via WhatsApp, email, or our contact form. A booking is confirmed only when (a) we have received your written confirmation, (b) you have accepted the tour operator's terms, and (c) the required deposit has cleared.

3.2 Pricing and Currency

All prices on our Site are indicative starting rates and are subject to availability, seasonality, room category, and operator changes. Final pricing is confirmed in writing before any deposit is taken. Where prices are displayed in a currency other than EUR, conversions are estimates only; the actual charge will be in the operator's base currency.

3.3 Payment Methods

Payments are processed by Stripe under their standard terms. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Bank transfers may be accepted for larger bookings; instructions will be provided after enquiry.

3.4 Deposits and Balance

Most operators require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking (typically 20–25% of the tour price) and the balance 60–90 days before departure. Exact deposit and balance terms vary by tour and will be communicated before any payment.

4. Cancellations and Changes

Cancellation and amendment fees are governed by the originating tour operator's policy and are passed through at cost. Typical cancellation fees scale with proximity to departure date (e.g. 100% of tour cost within 30 days of departure).

Where Traviofy charges a separate concierge or curation fee, that fee may be non-refundable once work has commenced.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance (including trip cancellation cover) for every booking. We can recommend providers but do not sell insurance directly.

5. Visa, Travel Documents, and Health Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring you have valid passports, visas, and any health documentation required for the countries on your itinerary. Traviofy can provide guidance and Schengen visa support letters as a complimentary service, but we are not a visa-issuing authority and cannot guarantee approval.

It is your responsibility to comply with all entry requirements (including any vaccination or health-screening requirements in force at time of travel).

6. Use of the Website

When using the Site, you agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Site or related systems
  • Scrape, copy, or republish any content from the Site without our written permission
  • Use any automated system (bot, scraper, etc.) to access the Site for commercial purposes
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the Site at our discretion, without notice, for any conduct we consider to be in breach of these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Traviofy or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Tour itinerary content from third-party operators is used under licence; their respective marks remain the property of those operators. You may share Site links and short quotes for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Traviofy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Site or Services. Our total liability for any direct claim arising from a booking is limited to the amount of our concierge or curation fee for that booking (excluding amounts paid through to a tour operator).

Tour operators are responsible for the conduct, safety, and quality of the tours they deliver. Claims relating to the tour experience should be raised with the operator first; we will assist you in reaching a resolution.

9. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform under these Terms when caused by events beyond reasonable control, including (without limitation) natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, pandemic-related restrictions, or interruptions to transport infrastructure.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ancona, Italy, except where local consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring action in your country of residence.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
